Announcing the IBM Lotus Workplace Messaging Demo and Notes/Domino 6.5 Beta

More Site News

IBM Lotus Workplace Messaging Demo
The IBM Lotus Workplace Messaging Demo is available on LDD. Workplace Messaging provides low-cost email to corporations who need to extend enterprise messaging to users currently without email access. This allows workers who don't have a dedicated desktop to communicate with the entire organization.

When you register for the demo, you'll receive a temporary Workplace Messaging user account and mailbox. You can use this account to try out Workplace Messaging and its features. This mail account will expire after 48 hours; to continue working with the demo after that, you can re-register to receive a new account.

Notes/Domino 6.5 Beta
We're also pleased to announce the Notes/Domino 6.5 Beta program is now underway. Major features of this Beta include:
  • Improved usability, expanded functionality, and platform support for IBM Lotus Domino Web Access (formerly iNotes Web Access)
  • Drag-and-drop support of mail documents for creating pre-populated calendar entries
  • Enhanced printing flexibility
  • Domino support for zLinux
  • Lotus Enterprise Integrator 6.5

Check out the Notes/Domino 6.5 Beta, and post your comments in the Notes/Domino 6.5 Beta feedback discussion.
