About this site

Alex Brown came to LDD as an intern in his senior year of high school. Under the job title of Network Apprentice, he mainly works under Jim Lund and does various projects of administration, security, and system maintenence with networking and hardware influences. His background includes making and maintaining Linux/UNIX servers at home as well as constructing home networks.

He is currently in his second year of the CCNA program, which his school offers at no cost. He has a working knowledge of HTML and is learning XML. In his spare time, Alex enjoys biking, boating, and multiplayer computer games, such as the original Half-Life and other games spawned from the original, like
Counterstrike and Day of Defeat. He has completed a few freelance jobs, aiding people with Web site support and design. After high school, Alex plans to go to college and to choose a major with a heavy computer-driven foundation.
