Barb is the Site Manager for Lotus Developer Domain. She was one of the "founders" of the original Notes.net web site and oversaw the effort to transform the Notes.net site into the new, expanded Lotus Developer Domain.
Barb has over 15 years experience in the software industry. She started with Iris Associates (the development group for Notes & Domino) in September 1994. She was involved in early product development efforts to integrate Notes with the Internet, including the InterNotes News (NNTP gateway) and the InterNotes Web Navigator. She also co-authored the Lotus Notes Internet Cookbook, which was distributed to over 1 million users.
Barb's favorite aspect of the Lotus Developer Domain is the intense and enthusiastic community that has grown over the past several years. She says "Our community is amazingly honest with us. There certainly isn't much that they hold back in the forums! It's really incredible to see a customer provide feedback in one of the forums and then watch as that feedback goes to the product developer to get worked into the product. What a rewarding experience to be a part of that process." |
