Detailed Description:
This tool can help you decide when to install a new server, as well as when to upgrade to a new release.
Server.Planner consists of three templates modeling the Capacity Planning process. Hardware vendors can use DSPV.NTF to record the results of their workload analysis. Analysts and Domino administrators can then use DSPA.NTF to query and analyze the data created by the vendors. The Decision Maker Database (DSPC.NTF) stores the results for review.
You can also download a sample dataset (cpa.nsf) and documentation (dspug.nsf). For more information on how Server.Planner works, see the documentation. In addition, see the Iris Today article "Simulating your workload environment with Server.Planner"
dsp462.exe contains:
Server.Planner templates: dspv.ntf, dspa.ntf, dspc.ntf.
Server.Planner documentation: DSPUG.NSF
Sample Vendor database: CPA.NSF
chconsts.txt contains:
LotusScript constants for Lotus Chart Component
Note: For graphical output when using Domino Server. Planner, you need to have Lotus Components 1.1. or higher.
