User Review of Alternate Color Rows View in a Web Browser

Hi, and thank you for this handy and time saving piece of code.
Everything works just fine except for one thing: on some computers, when displaying a categorized view, the twisties take a very long time to load, and sometimes they don't even load at all. I tried to change the settings for the cache in the browser (we're using Internet Explorer 5.5) but this had no effect (I let IE manage his cache automatically). When I watch the properties of one of the twisties, its URL is still of the form
http://myserver/icons/expand.gif
(which is normal, as the js code doesn't modify the IMG tags).
Does anybody have an idea where this problem comes from ?
