Detailed Description:
Lotus Component Designer supports JavaScript and XPath to allow users to develop powerful client-side and server-side scripts. This session will let you discover the languages and their extensive set of libraries and functions, including a subset of the popular IBM Lotus Notes "@functions". We will also introduce you to some advanced capabilities, like interfacing with Java code, creating your own libraries, and using the powerful integrated JavaScript debugger. Finally, we will cover client-side JavaScripting techniques that enable DHTML, CSS and AJAX, such as accessing portal input fields, creating script libraries and other useful functionality.
