RE: Timestamp replication transfer errors Daniel W Heichel 22.Mar.13 03:17 AM a Web browser LEI LEI - 8.0Windows
We would probably need some more information and screenshots - you may be best served by opening a ticket. However, that said, there are a couple of points to make:
1. There were a couple of issues with timestamp replication in the early 8.5 releases. These were largely fixed in 8.5.2 or 8.5.3. Would you be able to upgrade your LEI server to 8.5.3?
2. We can't write to a view. Therefore, if one side of your Timestamp Replication is a Notes View, then it stands to reason that we would never see writes to that side, leading to your first scenario. Can you avoid using a view here? Does it work normally if you simply use the Form? (It sounds like you're only having the view specify the Form anyway.)
3. Your second issue sounds like a completely different problem. Is that correct, does this describe an entirely different set of problem activities?
- Check the affected activities' configurations to ensure we don't have an obvious problem. For example, are any of the Skip options enabled that might be preventing Inserts, Updates or Deletions? Is there any reason why LEI might not be able to find some of the source data (such as readers' fields hiding them, etc)?
- Enable Conflict Logging on these activities, this will provide more information on what's going on in the leilog output. That should show us any skips, give us an idea as to whether LEI is finding them, etc.
