RE: Win7 64 with Notes 8,5,2 32bit: Can I use the 64bit db client server?

My first concern is that you said the DB2 Client is installed on your server. I just want to make sure you're aware that you won't be able to use that installation with your Notes Client unless your Notes Client is on that same machine. (Connectors must always be on the same local machine as the application that will use them.)

I assume you know this and are preparing for a new install on a different machine, but I thought I'd mention it.

Next, the direct answer to your question is no - the architectures must match. The Notes Client is only currently available as a 32-bit installation, so that would not be compatible with a 64-bit DB2 Client installation. If you installed a DB2 Client package that has both 32 and 64-bit options, then you can use the 32-bit portion; otherwise, I would recommend downloading and installing a 32-bit DB2 Client for use with Notes.
