If you are still getting "Error creating product object", then we must still have a simple detail we're overlooking. If the bitness of everything involved is 32-bit, then it is very likely that SAP is not installed on the same machine the script is running from.
Look on this client machine's Notes Program directory, and make sure there is an nsap.dcx file. Also check the Windows System32 directory to make sure there's a librfc32.dll file.
If that investigation doesn't reveal a problem, then, what type of client are you running?
