Thanks for the tip on the version; I've been trying to find 8.0 64 bit files for a while and now I'll stop!
I REALLY don't want to go ODBC. It's slower and will mean a bunch of code I have running will need to be rewritten and I'd really prefer to not have to do that.
I'm about to do some testing and will report back my findings.
