You probably know that to send an e-mail to someone without letting them see who else received the e-mail, you use the bcc (blind carbon copy) field for the other recipients.
But what if you want to send the e-mail to more than one person, with each person as the main recipient and without any indication that the e-mail was sent to anyone else? For example, what if you want to send a mailing to all of your customers, but you don't want any of them to see who else received the mailing?
The answer lies with the bcc field and with groups in your personal address book or the Domino Directory. Create a group of all the recipients; then enter the group name in the bcc field instead of the To field of the e-mail message. Each recipient will see only his/her name in the header, and all the other recipients will be hidden.
